I write to you to ask for your help by participating in therevised survey that we have made available via the link below. We havecorrected the problem which kept many faculty members from being able to usethis instrument when initially published and I apologize for that error.Additionally, we have modified the questions based on user feedback. Thesurvey should take 5 minutes or less to complete and will help us to tailorthe LMS to the needs of community. We will share this data with you as soonas it is compiled. Please respond by May 18th so that the information maybe used to develop summer and fall initiatives. As always, your partnershipand cooperation are greatly appreciated.

Summer & Fall Textbook Orders

To: All Pratt Faculty
From: The Prattstore
Date: April 2, 2007

Re: Summer and Fall textbook orders

The Prattstore is requesting that all Summer I & II and Fall 2007 orders be submitted no later than April 30, 2007. I have provided below a link for an electronic text adoption form. Please use this for the most efficient method for placing your requests. This form will require all pertinent information needed in order for the store to order the correct title(s). In addition, this method of ordering allows us to send an immediate email response that we have received your order.

Once you have completed this form, select "SUBMIT" and your order will be sent to the store. If the above method can not be used, you can send a copy of your order to the store. We will need to know the author, title ISBN # and publisher. Also include the course # and section as well as the enrollment. To ensure that we have received it, please call us a week later to confirm that we have your order. You can also come to the store and fill out a form here in the store manager's office.

Do not hesitate to call us with questions, but note that we can not accept orders by phone.

The earlier you order the more time we have to look for used books which are less expensive than new publisher copies. Also, your students will be looking to sell their books at the end of this semester. If you are using a book that students are selling, they can get up to 50% of the current new textbook price. This can substantially reduce the cost of buying textbooks.

Please submit your orders early.
